digi-pix is a fully automated service suitable for a wide range of applications, where a high volume of prints are required by customers who do not need the precision of a fully colour managed ICC workflow.

The digi-pix service is a direct-to-print service from camera card, CD or FTP file transfer. All prints are produced on Fuji Crystal Archive Photographic paper with a choice of Lustre and Gloss surfaces. These prints are not just for those who want value: anyone with a professionally colour calibrated system will be rewarded with long life, professional quality prints at a better cost than inkjet printing.

The digi-pix service is not a fully colour managed service but uses the automated digital workflow of the Noritsu printer, which emulates an output profile. For this reason files should be supplied in the sRGB colourspace and there are no Softproof profiles available for this service. For portfolios and books, the Edition Digital C-Type Print service is recommended.

Files should be supplied on a PC formatted CD, camera cards or uploaded to our FTP server. Images should be filed in labelled folders e.g. prints to be printed 6x4 should be in a folder labelled ‘6x4’. Multiples must be with in separate folders and labelled as all the files in each folder will be printed as labelled. Normal turnaround time: 1 day.
