Richard Wentworth - In conversation with leading designer, Kit Grover. Wednesday 10 February 6.00pm
Since graduating from the RCA in the 1970s, Richard Wentworth has played a hugely influential role in contemporary British art. His work manipulates industrial and/or found objects into works of art, transforming the way we think about sculpture and photography. In his ongoing project Making Do and Getting By, Wentworth has been documenting aspects of everyday life over the past thirty years.
David Spero - In conversation with David Campany, artist, writer and Reader in Photography at the University of Westminster. Wednesday 10 March 6.00pm
Since the early 1990s David Spero has worked on interconnected photography projects. In his ongoing series Ball Photographs, begun in 2001, the artist introduces ‘three dimensional constellations’; coloured rubber balls of different sizes placed into existing and often transitory locations. These planes disrupt, transform and map new connections and patterns in the spaces represented in the resulting photographs.
